The Android operating system often uses animations when you interact with your device, such as shrinking apps into the background when you close them. If you are sensitive to these visual effects, you can enable ‘Remove Animations’ to turn them off.
How to enable Remove Animations
- To access the Accessibility features on your Android device open the Settings app .
- In the Settings app, select Accessibility from the list.
- Now scroll down to the Display section and select Remove Animations to set the toggle switch to On.
Note: we have written these instructions for devices running the standard version of the Android operating system. You may find some minor presentation differences if the manufacturer has customised the theme.
